if i took the stock 8.75x2.5 vanilla off a 07 bighit and put a 8.75 i2i by 2.75 stroke id make the travel 8 inches correct?

haha well today i got it from the shop, seal blown or not, oil still comes out of the release, but the thing is plusher than its ever been, so im just gonna ride it
